Yes. The Saturday Sabbath was pointing to Christ who would be the Rest of Salvation and God changed the Sabbath to Sunday the morning of His resurrection. In the following verse, most Bibles have the same plural Greek word Sabbath translated (week) the second time around. Please see the original Greek text:
- In the end of the Sabbaths, as it began to dawn toward the first of the Sabbaths, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher. Mat 28:1
