Seventy Weeks: 70 – 1 = 69

Da 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Da 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous^06695 times^06256. (458 BC – Ezra returns to Jerusalem re-establish the law / Ezra 1:2-5)

Troublous Times (points to the great tribulation as the last week of 7)

Pr 1:27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish^06695 cometh upon you.

Isa 8:22 And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish^06695; and they shall be driven to darkness.

Isa 30:6 The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish^06695, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.

Jer 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time^06256 of Jacob‘s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Zec 10:1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time^06256 of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

Hag 1:2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time^06256 is not come, the time^06256 that the LORD’S house should be built.

Zep 3:20 At that time^06256 will I bring you again, even in the time^06256 that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.

Da 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah^04899 (Christ / Elect) be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince (prince - could fit both Christ or Satan) that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Ps 105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed^04899, and do my prophets no harm.

Ps 20:6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed^04899; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

Zec 4:14 Then said he, These are the two anointed (oil / anointed) ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Da 9:27 And he shall confirm^01396 the covenant^01285 with many for one week (88–94 tribulation is viewed spiritually as 7 years): and in the midst of the week (1994 Jubilee) he shall cause the sacrifice^02777 and the oblation^04503 (offering) to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation^03617, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (Judgment)

La 1:16 For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed^01396.

Ps 65:3 Iniquities prevail^01396 against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.

Job 21:7 Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty^01396 in power?

Job 15:25 For he stretcheth out his hand against God, and strengtheneth^01396 himself against the Almighty.

A Evil Covenant

Ho 10:4 They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant^01285: thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.

Ho 12:1 Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant^01285 with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.

Da 11:25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

Eze 17:12 Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon;

Eze 17:13 And hath taken of the king’s seed, and made a covenant^01285 with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land:

Eze 17:14 That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand.

Isa 28:18 And your covenant^01285 with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

Isa 28:15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant^01285 with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

Job 41:1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?

Job 41:2 Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?

Job 41:3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?

Job 41:4 Will he make a covenant^01285 with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?

Sacrifice and Oblation cease = 1994 End of the church age (Salvation?)

Even though literal sacrifices ceased at the cross, spiritual sacrifices continued. As long as the Door (Christ) is not shut, The sacrifice related to the New Testament church was still in evidence. This raises the question as to whether or not God is still saving today?

Le 3:1 And if his oblation be a sacrifice^02077 of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.

Ex 23:18 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice^02077 with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.

Isa 19:21 And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice^02077 and oblation^04503; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it. (depart out, new sacrifice, new Jerusalem, salvation of the Elect body – no indication of a new era of salvation because the tribulation ended at the start of the separation (Mt 24:29-31)

Ro 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Christ is the only acceptable sacrifice. A cessation of sacrifice would imply that there is no more salvation in Christ)

Christendom: The External Body of Christ appears to be more than the local churches and congregations

It appears that Christendom would include every religion or individual who claim some identify with Christ whether or not they have an active faith or attend church:

Lu 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

Isa 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

Consummation = Utter End (judgment)

Na 1:8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end^03617 of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

Da 11:16 But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed^03617.

Jer 30:11 For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end^03617 of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end^03617 of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.

Conclusion:

By God’s grace, today we see a much bigger picture because this is the time when He is revealing the details related to Judgment. The 70 weeks of Daniel 9 it, appears

has only one direct path from 458BC to the cross in 33AD (1st judgment). The second path is spiritual and God uses the number 69 (62 + 7) to draw our attention to the

nearest Jubilee next to 458BC (457BC) and how it ties into to the other Jubilee that lands on judgment day and the end of the corporate body in 1994. In the context of

Daniel 9, the one who confirms a covenant is Satan and this points to the great tribulation which is viewed elsewhere in the Bible as seven spiritual years. The midst of

the week when sacrifices and offering ceased points us to the Door (Christ) being shut. Other language found in the Bible tells us that this also coincides with the

Salvation of the Elect Body at the end of the tribulation.

• A longer path: Between two jubilees: 456-407 = 49
• 62 weeks: 406BC to baptism in 29AD 434 (62 x 7) (Christ confirms the covenant for final week)
• Half of the final week from 29 to 33AD 3.5 (The cross – end of sacrifices)
• Final week (spiritual) from the cross in 33AD to the literal return of Christ = 3.5

Observable weaknesses of the above conclusion:

• 69 (62+7) weeks (3 x 23) appears to be spiritual (Should have gone from 457 BC to 2011, but tribulation was cut short to 1994 – Mat 24:22)
• The stop at the cross does not fit, because it appears that Satan and the false prophets are the people of the Prince who destroy the temple in the confirmation of the covenant (not the covenant of grace)
• The Jubilee year of 1994 is not factored in showing the tie from Jubilee to Jubilee (457BC + 1994AD = 2450) <2 x (5x5) x (7x7)> and the Bible gives sufficient proof that Judgment and Salvation began in 1994.
