Ru 3:1 Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee? Mt 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Ps 51:18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. Ec 8:13 But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God. Ru 3:2 And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth (scattering, fan) barley to night in the threshingfloor (barn). Mt 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Mt 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Ru 3:3 Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking. (to be identified with the atoning work of Christ) Joh 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Joh 19:28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Ru 3:4 And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark (consider, acknowledge) the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do. Ps 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.Ru 3:5 And she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do. Job 21:26 They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them. Ho 2:10 And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand. Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced… Ru 3:6 And she went down unto the floor, and did according to all that her mother in law bade her. Ru 3:7 And when Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of corn: and she came softly, and uncovered his feet, and laid her down. Pr 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Ru 3:8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. Heb 5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Ru 3:9 And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman. Eze 16:8 Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: Ru 3:10 And he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich. Ru 3:11 And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman. Pr 12:4 A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones. Ru 3:12 And now it is true that I am thy near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I. Ru 3:13 Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman’s part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning.
