Can a person sin after salvation?
YES. The salvation experience is in the soul.  In that part of your personality you never want to sin again and find great joy and comfort when you obey the laws of God. However, the unsaved body can still lust after sin and cause a person to sin if they take their eyes of Christ:

  • But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Romans 7:23
  • For the flesh lusteth agains the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Galatians 5:17

...Come out of her

my people... (Rev 18:4)

May 21, 2011

  • End of the pre-determined 23 years of great tribulation (8400 days)
  • Seventeenth day of the second month. Date for the first flood (Ge 7:11)
  • 7000 years from the first flood in 4990 BC
  • Anticipation of a literal fulfilment of the spiritual events that took place beginning in 1994
  • A good candidate for the literal end of this universe.

October 21, 2011
  • End of the anticipated literal feast of tabernacles
  • Five literal months from May 21: 153 days (3 x 3 x 17)
  • A good candidate for the literal end of this universe.

Please note that the substance on the end of the world is dealing with the end of the church age. God uses the words earth or world in talking about the Church. God's plagues are already being poured out on the unsaved within the corporate body (Re 18:4). The year 2011 as seen on the Biblical calendar can be viewed as the anticipated time of a literal end to this present universe. How God will bring that to pass, however, we have to wait and see.

Salvation:
While the language of the Bible would seem to indicate that Salvation is very scarce today, we are always encouraged to call on the name of the Lord. (Lu 11:5-9 / La 3:26)
