How are we to keep the Sunday Sabbath?

Most people today keep the Sunday Sabbath by going to church on Sunday morning, but the rest of the day is their time for movies, ball games, work in the house, the car, restaurants etc. It should be God's Holy day devoted mainly to spiritual activities like sharing the gospel, reading the Bible, prayer, visiting the sick. Again today we're learning that the idea of honoring the Sabbath is pointing spiritually to this time of tribulation, but believers continue to honor God morally on Sunday:

  • If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honorable; and shalt honor him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Isa 58:13

Witnessing Tools Babylon is Fallen - Tract
Babylon is Fallen - Tract PDF Print E-mail

Perhaps a good way to obey the command of being a watchman (Ezekiel 33:2-9).  Please read carefully and prayerfully to see if the LORD would move you to share this end-time tract with those around you.

Click on the image below. The tract opens in preferred document format (PDF).  It should be printed front and back on letter-size paper and folded twice making sure the front stays as the first page.

And which ministry is this? I am familiar with open forum and its teachings. I never knew that there existed any other with teaching similar to familyradio, except ebiblefellowshi p, and goodmessage.org and bible ministries international. I am goind through your site and learning more about you. By the way, what is your take on destruction. I watched your video, but it did not give any concrete conclusion on where you stand. Do you also believe that there is no club where people will be suffering eternally?

We're not an organized ministry; just the collective work of some to bring an end time message. I've been a FR listener for about 20 years and have been blessed by many teachings. However, we're in a day that calls for trusting only the Bible rather than what others are teaching. The biggest difference between this ministry and FR is that we don't believe in a literal torment of hell on earth for 5 months in 2011. Language of "weeping and gnashing of teeth, lake of fire, second death, for ever and ever etc..." all appear to be focusing on God's judgment (fire) today on the corporate body. Hell (destruction) is the same thing. The Bible speaks of the churches of today as being in Hell. A word in the Bible that should have probably been translated "Valley of Hinnom" and does not refer to physical punishment as once thought. We also can't endorse annihilation either. We can speculate God will use the language mentioned also from a physical vintage point but that would be speculation. We just don't know. God does not appear to be giving us information, at this time, that would allow us to tell someone the destiny of the unsaved. However we are comforted in the fact that the parabolic language is focusing on the tribulation. Thanks for sharing. You're welcome to visit TheBibleonly room on Paltalk if you'd like to discuss these things further. More information on the front page of this site.

wow! you are seriously confused. The bible clearly states that the unsaved will "cease" to exist in eternal life. It's sort of a wast to continue writing to you right now because you completely lost. Email me and I will give you very firm understanding on the scriptures you so foolishly misunderstand!

Find it interesting you are taking the time to continue to write. May the Lord give you wisdom as you are moved by this message and ponder His Word. My Bible is teaching that God the Holy Spirit gives wisdom. Why would you feel you can give me "very firm understanding on the scriptures..."?

Pr 2:6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

God uses teachers to break down his Word. Pray that the Lord opens up your understanding then because you are sure cut off from the truth.
